The French, quite gambling and purposeful in nature, became the founders of many sports in Europe. It was in France at the end of the 19th century that the National Olympic Committee came into being under the leadership of the local nobleman Pierre Coubertin, who revived the ancient Olympiad in its new capacity under the unofficial motto: “Sport instead of war!”. B – Bastille, the day of the capture of this prison fortress built in 1370 – July 14, 1889 – is considered one of the most important national holidays. In fact, the main reason for the storming of the Bastille was the seizure of weapons stored there, and not the release of prisoners, who at the time were not more than ten people.

Menhir – a long stone
Seeing us in the Breton small town Lokmariaker, friends instructed: – The town, of course, is small, but you will not be bored around some dolmens and menhirs. There will be something to do. Indeed, literally at every step, it was enough to leave the city (and it ended before it started), we found huge stones: some stood like pillars, others were piled one on another, like gigantic tables, and from the third there were whole galleries . Over these centuries, if not millennia, legends have been made about these stones and, what is most funny, they are still composed, however, under the guise of nothing to confirm the alleged scientific hypotheses.
