How old is the tower and why is it Eiffel? What paint is used in the lining of the structure, and how many tourists visit the monument annually? This and even dozens of questions will help answer the virtual journey “Around the Eiffel Tower.” International Aviation Broker AVIAV TM (Cofrance SARL) offers a real tour in France on a private jet, during which there will be a great opportunity to get to know the country closer and see the famous Iron Lady.
All temporary – constantly
In 1889, the architect Eifel built a metal tower in the center of Paris with the sole purpose of separating the area of the next World Paris Exhibition from the rest of the city.
The three-meter construction was supposed to be the gateway to the exhibition timed to the centenary of the Great French Revolution, and after 20 years they were going to disassemble the tower. The government received a letter signed by world celebrities such as Dumas son, Guy de Maupassant and Charles Gounod, that the “monstrous” structure should be dismantled immediately, but the story has been ordered differently …
Iron Ladies success
Built on the Field of Mars, the iron structure instantly gained success with the inhabitants of the planet. In the first two years of its existence, two million people climbed the tower, expressing their delight and covering most of the costs for building the entrance tickets.
In subsequent years, the Eiffel Tower became one of the symbols of France, and partly even its talisman, which can be seen using the offer from AVIAV TM (Cofrance SARL) – a sightseeing flight over Paris on a private sightseeing helicopter.
